Christine Daugeneaux (Teacher)

Christine, age 85, of Butler Twp., passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 11, 209 at Hearth & Home of Vandalia after a lengthy illness. She was born September 18, 1923 in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of the late Waldo & Jessie (Hurst) Bray. Christine was a retired school teacher with Trotwood City Schools and was a wonderful writer. Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Richard in 1996, Christine is survived by her 3 daughters, Barbara & husband, Joe Modderno of Crofton, MD, Joan Daugneaux & friend, Steve Mallory of McComb, OH, and Kathy & husband, Frank Allen of Vandalia; 2 grandchildren, Ben Allen & Matt Modderno; 1 sister, Betty McWilliams Haines of West VA; special nieces, Karen Corbin & Shari Walker; former son-in-law, Mark Seitz of Trotwood; her very special friend, Virginia Torre; and numerous other relatives and friends in WV.
