Dennis Zappin Jr.

Obit was in Tues. paper. Dennis J. Zappin Age 70 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2017. He was preeded in death by his Father, Raymond "Pope" Zappin. Denny is survived by his Mother, Hannah "Sugar", 2 daughters, Hilary & Kathryn, grandchildren, ethan, Elijah & Addison, his ex-wife & high school sweetheart, Betty, brother, Richard & Sister, Joanne. Denny lived a life rich in experience & love & he faced death with courage, humor, & grace. He will be profoundly missed by many. Funeral service will be held Thurs., 1:30p at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. 3rd St.. Following the service a gathering will be held at Coco' s Bistro, 250 Warren St. from 3 to 6pm. Glicker Funeral Home handling arrangements. (We tried very hard to find Denny to send a mailer about our 50th & never were able to locate him. One of our committee members ran into him at a grocery locally & did tell him of our 50th; it's a shame that he was right here locally & we couldn't locate him to contact him.
