Paul C. Wotherspoon

WOTHERSPOON, Paul C., of Beavercreek, passed away June 9, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born November 6, 1945 in Paterson, NJ.
Survived by wife, Lesia M. Wotherspoon; sons, Adam (Michelle) Wotherspoon, Noah (Jessi Bair) Wotherspoon; daughter, Sascha (David) Bowling; 6 grandchildren; mother of Paul's children, Beatrice Wotherspoon, and sister, Bernice (William) Likens of Moorestown, NJ.

Graduate of Colonel White H.S. Dayton Class '64, Wright State U. '68 & '71, Miami University, '77 (PhD), Paul was an educator.

His career began in Dayton City Schools '69-'73, H.S. Principal Mississinawa Valley H.S. '75-'77, Mason H.S. '77-'79, Asst. Supt. Sugarcreek Twnshp. Schools '79-'81.

Dir. Business Services for Kettering City Schools from '81 to '99, Paul found lasting friendships within the system and community. He was able, with this support, to achieve many bldg. & grounds improvements.

Post KCS retirement, Paul became Adjunct Prof. at WSU, UD, UC & Ohio State. He also was Program Coordinator for WSU in ED. Graduate Studies. He continued with these endeavors most of the last decade.

Paul was an avid golfer, model train enthusiast and lover of history.
A beloved husband & father, he most enjoyed being able to help his family in the pursuit of happiness as part of a productive life.
